The Easter Kitty

This is the time of year when people put wrapped chocolate eggs, Easter bunnies and/or jelly beans in very cute crystal containers. Leilani discovered candy in a bowl during Christmas and LOVES to scatter them all over the house so no more bowls of candy around here. Yesterday we bought a couple of bags of jelly beans and each had a hand full then used a twist tie to close them up, leaving them on the kitchen counter. This morning I was having coffee - waiting for my pills to kick in and I heard something spilling all over the kitchen floor -in the middle of a flood of jelly beans was Leilani holding the twist tie in her mouth - she looked like she had just hit the mother load!!! LOL. I got the broom, swept them up and tossed them much to her chagrin. Then I went into the pet pantry and found her a catnip mouse - she turned her back and walked away - tail just a twitching - haven't seen her since - lmbo!
