The First Meeting

When Jackson and Janet came to visit for the first time it was a big UH OH! Jackson wanted to eat Maggie - thank goodness she was a lot faster than he was - lol. Then it was Leilani's turn, she held her ground hissing, arching her back and throwing a right hook making contact causing him to RUNAWAY! WOW she was tough giving him a much needed attitude adjustment. Janet had in the meantime eaten all of Maggie's food as well as cleaning out Leilani's litter box for me. (yuck) That set the stage for us to get to know each other over the next few months. I read later the dogs should have met on neutral ground - I should have done that research before the meeting. I live and learn from my mistakes.
